THE ORIGIN
Story Behind EMH
The idea of Event Material Hub emerged from the combined industry experience of Mr. Raj Kumar Taluka and Mr. Ravi Jindal, who have been closely associated with the event industry for decades.
Throughout their journey, they worked alongside event planners, production houses, decorators, rental companies, exhibition contractors, and suppliers, gaining a deep understanding of how the industry operates and the challenges businesses face every day.
One challenge stood out consistently; valuable event materials remained idle in warehouses after being used for a project, while businesses in other cities were actively searching for similar materials.
They recognized that the industry lacked a dedicated platform where businesses could efficiently showcase, discover, buy or sell event materials.
Driven by this insight and their passion for creating meaningful solutions for the industry, they envisioned a platform that would connect businesses directly, eliminate unnecessary intermediaries and help unlock the hidden value of existing inventory.
This vision led to the creation of the Event Material Hub.
Today, EMH aims to become the industry's most trusted platform for connecting suppliers, buyers, rental companies, decorators, production houses and event professionals across India.

Mr. Raj Kumar Taluka is a distinguished entrepreneur with over 45 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry. As the founder of the Taluka Group, he transformed a humble tent business in Jaipur into one of the industry's most respected names through his commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Having worked closely with event businesses throughout his career, Mr. Taluka recognized a major industry challenge; valuable event materials often remained unused in warehouses after events. This insight inspired the creation of Event Material Hub (EMH), a platform designed to help businesses monetize inventory, connect directly with buyers and suppliers, and create new business opportunities across India.

His contribution to the sector has earned him recognition at a national level, and he has been elected as the National President of the All India Tent Decorator Welfare Association, representing and working for the interests of event businesses across the country. His deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities inspired the creation of Event Material Hub, a platform designed to connect event businesses, unlock the value of existing inventory, and create new business opportunities across India.
